Hope i'm surprised when I land today.

Flying from NY, don't land until 2 or so, home at 3.

3 hours into FA, probably 50 guys announced by then

Thanks for another great blog, JJ!

Anything new on Kruger? Is he actually being shopped, or is it just a case of getting feelers out there? His contract isn't great, but I'd still like to see him in an Indianhead sweater this season.

Thanks JJ! Great info as usual. McGinn would look great on the 1st line. I wondered about Jooris. I don't remember where I read it, but someone described him as a poor mans Kruger. Latta would look nice on the 4th line. Not a fan of Hudler.

Yakupov is a pipe dream for me. I think he would thrive on the all russian line. Allows Kane to flank toews and hossa to go to the thurd line. Imagine a line of panik-kruger/jooris/schmaltz- hossa. Liking it.

I don't think they're gonna move him, but I am sharing that I have heard he's been shopped recently.

From a hockey standpoint.....liking Campbell or McGinn add. Dislike Vanek rumours. Not a fan of his game.

Thinking Hudler may be had at a decent cost too....

JJ great intel! Thanks again. Any word on how they would pay for the wing? Seems like Crow going might be hard one to pull off.

David Rundblad is missing from your list. Has he been fitted for cement shoes?

Hey JJ,

Nice write up. Should be a fun/interesting day!

Really interested in what would be coming back if Crawford went to Buffalo.

TVR to EDM for Yak - and EDM retains $750k. ???

Panarin at 1LW, Yak at 2LW, and Panik at 3LW.

Looks good to me.

Funny, the source (a hockey guy) feels the same. But he too is just passing it along.

Hoping for 1.5 to 2.5 million. We already paid you big one time buddy. Take the hit for another run at the cup.

John,

Great stuff.

Still remains even if they make a deal for Crawford doesn't he still have to approve any deal and let's be honest why would he go to Buffalo who is worse than Calgary?

I'm hoping 1.5 million for one year. I'm hoping that he wants to take one more shot at the cup. 2-3 would ask for a longer term, which I think the Hawks wouldn't do because of the expansion. They couldn't protect him and why pay that much when you know?
